Privacy Policy for the Alogator Web and Mobile Application

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) governs the manner in which Alogator s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”) processes personal data of natural persons (hereinafter referred to as the “data subjects”) in connection with the use of the Alogator web and mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”).
The Controller processes personal data in accordance with:
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR),
Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection,
other applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.
By using the Application, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy.

The Controller is responsible for the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.
3. Scope of Personal Data Processing
3.1 Data provided by users (job applicants)
The Controller processes in particular:
identification data (name, surname),
contact data (email address, phone number),
professional data (profession, specialization, work experience, education),
documents (CV, attachments),
location data (address, country of residence),
profile data (photograph, languages, skills),
preferences and search settings,
communication and activity data within the Application.
3.2 Data provided by clients (employers)
company identification data (name, registered office, Company ID, Tax ID, VAT ID),
contact details of the responsible person,
company data (logo, profile),
job offers and related content.
3.3 Automatically collected data
device and system information,
IP address,
logs and diagnostic data,
cookies and online identifiers,
usage data.
3.4 Data obtained from third parties
payment service providers,
social login providers (if used).
4. Purposes of Processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
4.1 Provision of services
creation and management of user accounts,
job matching and recruitment services,
publication of job offers,
enabling profile browsing.
4.2 Performance of contractual obligations
payment processing and invoicing,
customer support,
ensuring Application functionality.
4.3 Communication
system and security notifications,
push notifications (if enabled).
4.4 Marketing
only based on explicit consent.
4.5 Legal obligations
accounting and tax obligations,
cooperation with public authorities.
4.6 Legitimate interests
fraud prevention,
analytics and service improvement,
protection of systems and databases.

6. Data Retention
user accounts: max. 3 years of inactivity
client accounts: duration of contractual relationship
accounting documents: 10 years
communication data: 24 months
technical logs: 12 months
consent-based data: until withdrawal
After this period, data is deleted or anonymized.

7.1 Clients (employers)
Only based on user settings.
7.2 Service providers
Cloud, payments, IT, security.
7.3 Public authorities
Only when required by law.
